What's the difference between a manicure and a gel manicure?
A classic manicure uses regular nail polish that dries naturally but chips more easily — lasting around 5–7 days. A gel manicure uses UV-cured gel polish that bonds to the nail for a chip-free finish lasting 2–3 weeks. Gel requires a UV lamp and needs proper acetone removal to protect the nail.
How often should I get a manicure?
A classic manicure every 2–3 weeks keeps nails looking their best. Gel manicures last longer and need redoing every 2–3 weeks as the nail grows. If you want even longer wear, our BIAB nails service suits clients who prefer to come back every 3–4 weeks depending on nail growth.
How long does a manicure take?
A classic manicure takes around 30–45 minutes. Gel manicures run slightly longer — 45–60 minutes — to allow for proper curing. Pedicures are similar in length. You can choose your treatment when booking online.
Do you also offer BIAB nails?
Yes — BIAB (Builder In A Bottle) is a strengthening gel overlay that builds the nail back up. Most clients come back every 3–4 weeks depending on nail growth. It's stronger and longer-lasting than standard gel. See our dedicated BIAB Nails page for full details and to book.
